4th of July Festivities

Well our 4Th of July started off on Friday afternoon when we attended a BBQ at my friends Kim's house. We had macaroni salad, french bread, corn on the cob and tri tip. It was very good. After the BBQ we all carpooled down to the river to watch the fireworks from the boat ramp. We also witness a gentlemen sinking his boat. It was very sad as they were still trying to get it back up when we were leaving.

On Saturday we had Bill and Julie over for a BBQ at our house and to watch the Nascar race. They were also kidless this weekend so it was very quiet and nice. The company was nice the race ended up awful.

On Sunday we went over to chat with Brian's dad and stepmom and ended up going to dinner with them to have Mexican food at a new restaurant. It was very good.

Well that is it for my 4Th of July weekend. Have a nice day.

Hey sis.
Give that husband of yours a big hug from me. I am sorry to her about his grandfather.
I am glad you had a nice 4th of July. I can't imagine not having any kids! Enjoy your peace and quiet and clean house. Must be nice. I would say I am jealous but I know I could only last a couple of days without the girls before I would be bored to death.

Hey Julie,
Glad to hear from you. Thought you and Brent had forgot how to Blog. Glad to hear that you enjoyed the 4th. It must be quiet without the boys. Especially Brandon!!!!!! I know there is never a dull moment with Brandon around. He could always bring a smile to my face. Hope you are surving the heat. The weather here has been mild with scattered thunder storms.
Sorry to hear about Brian's grandfather. What are their plans for the grandmother now? From what I heard she can not be left alone.
Well that's it for now.
Love Dena
