Christmas 2008

The Christmas Holiday

Well Christmas is finally over and now I look forward to the new year. We had a wonderful Christmas. I made my first Christmas Eve dinner. I made prime rib for the first time ever with the help of course of Malma. We had prime rib, seasoned red potatoes, salad, fruit salad(made by Brandon), ravioli's and dinner rolls. My dad, Malma, Justin, Daveen, Kathy and Jerry were all there to enjoy a nice Christmas Eve.

On Christmas Day I had my mom and Gary over for breakfast along with Kathy and Jerry. After breakfast the kids opened their presents. The Hill family stopped in for a visit before going to a friend's house for dinner. After that it was time to prepare for the boys to head to Tennessee.

We woke up and loaded the car on Friday and headed to the Sacramento airport to drop the boys and my mom off for their trip. I cried when I said goodbye as it was hard to see them go. They arrived in Atlanta on time but got delayed for an hour and a half there so they ended up getting to Tennessee at 12:13am instead of 10:47pm. The good news however was they did get there. When I talked to them yesterday, they were having a great time visiting.

As far me and Brian we went out last night to see Valkyrie and then out to dinner with Bill and Julie Hill. Today I am getting caught up with my laundry and Brian is working on the Babygrand.

Well that's all for now. Have a wonderful week and Happy New Years to all.

Hello Again

Yes I'm back. Thank you goes out to my sister, Jayme for her wonderful new blog creation for me. I have been so busy with work and our move. We are finally all moved in. Now the unpacking and organizing begins. My Stepmom aka Malma came over last weekend and helped me put some pictures on the walls so at least my house is starting to feel like home. This weekend we are going to start the Christmas decorating. The boys have been itching to start, especially Brandon. He can't wait. I also plan to start and finish my Christmas shopping hopefully. Well with our racing season done until spring there has not been very much else happening. The boys and my mom will be heading to Tennessee for a week the day after Christmas and they are very excited. School for them will be out starting next Friday. They are looking forward to that as well. As for me I have a full work week next week and then I have to work Monday and Tuesday and then I am off until the 29th of December. I am so looking forward to the time off. It has been very hectic at work lately.

Well I better go so I can get the boys ready for bed and get settled for Survivor Thursday. Have a very nice weekend and I will blog again soon with some pictures of the new Curran pad.
