Yippee!!

Well today I am off of work for Memorial Day, all I have to say is YIPPEE. Brian is heading to Bill Hill's this afternoon to go work on race cars. We are racing next weekend in Roseville so he needs to get started putting cars back together. The boys and I will be heading to the stores to get some summer clothes today.

We watched all the racing that was on yesterday. Way to go Dale Jr for not giving up and winding up 5Th with a torn up car. Brian, Kathy, the boys and I went to see the new Indiana Jones movie last night after the race was over. It was pretty good.

Indiana Jones

Well I better go so I can get the boys moving so we can get out of here for the day. Have a great day and remember to leave me comments.

Our Boy Did It Again

Well our boy did it again. He won in his 4Th race. We raced at Madera on Saturday night. All I have to say is "Way to Go Kid"! Brent qualified 6Th and started on the pole and lead all 25 laps for his 2ND ever win. It was very exciting. Here are a few pictures that I took after his win.

As you can see they had much improved trophy girls this time then the last ones. Brian told Brent at the beginning of the race about the girls and I think that was a little bit of his motivation to win. We also reminded him in the middle of the race as well.

Brandon had a bowling tournament on Saturday as well. It started at 9:30 in the morning and if they were in the top 6 they got to come back to bowl at 2:30 in the afternoon. He finished 3rd in the qualifying round and was able to go back at 2:30 for the bowl off for 1st place. He ended up finishing 4Th overall. He did a great job.

Well we are preparing for a big day of more racing since that is what our family lives for. Have a nice Memorial Day.

Back to the Land of the Living

Well I am so happy to be back to the land of the living. For the past few days I have been fighting the flu. I have had a headache, body aches, fever, stuffy nose and cough. Today is the first day since Tuesday that I have felt good. Today was the All-Star Nascar race and we had my mom, Gary, and the Hill Family over to watch with us. I made Enchilada Casserole and Taco Salad.

Tomorrow we are going to my dad's house to swim and enjoy the pool. It has been in the 100's here so it has been very hot. My step-brother Eric is here from Arizona until Monday so we are going to go over and visit with him before he goes back home.

Well I better go so that I can get to bed and get some rest after a very somewhat busy day.

Happy Mother's Day

First of all I want to say Happy Mother's Day to my family in Tennessee. We went to the Giant's game yesterday. It was a great day. The sun was out and we had a cool ocean breeze going through the park so it stayed at a pretty comfortable temperature. They also won yesterday which made it even better. We sat in section 101 which was all the way in the corner of right field. Both Brandon and Brent came home with baseballs from the game. We were so close to the field that they were able to get balls from the players in the outfield as they finished warming up. Well I better go so that I can get ready for people to arrive for our Mother's Day BBQ and Kathy and I are running to the store.

Giant's Game

Well hello all. Today we are going to see the Giant's play the Phillies at AT&T Park. My mom, Gary, Kathy and Jerry are all going with us. The game starts at 1:05 so we are planning on leaving here at 10:30. Jerry wants to get there early so that he can walk around before the game starts. Tomorrow we are having a BBQ.

Yesterday Julie, Taylor, Taylor's friend Ari and I went to see Made of Honor. It was a real cute movie. It reminded me a lot of My Best Friend's Wedding with Julia Roberts except the male version.

Well I better go so that I can get ready to go to the game. Go Giants!!!!

The Blog Police

Well the blog police are after me so I better post something. It has been pretty boring at the Curran household with no races. Last weekend Brian and Brent went to Idaho with Bill Hill to pick up a late model for Bill's daughter Taylor. They left on Friday night and returned home on Sunday at 1:30 am. Brandon decided to go to Grandma Kathy's so I had the whole house to myself. I went to Kim's house on Friday night for dinner, we had Little Manual's (sorry Jayme). On Saturday I was suppose to go over to my dads house but I actually didn't feel like doing anything so I just stayed home and got caught up on all my soaps. I had a months worth of Young and the Restless and Days of our Lives to watch.

Yesterday I went to have my hair cut and boy did it get cut. She took off 3", it is at my shoulders and in an "A" cut so that it is longer in the front and shorter in the back. Everyone that has seen it says it looks really good on me. I tried to do my character to resemble it as best as I could. I will take a picture and post it soon. Anyway got to go so that I can go to Brandon's bowling league.
